Two-hour zoom gatherings where we ‘play’ with our words on the page.  We complete a series of free-writing exercises, and everyone is welcome (but not required) to share what they write with the group.

Curated groups that meet on zoom for six sessions. During each two-hour gathering, we complete free-writing exercises, share working material for feedback, and establish writing goals.

Studying at Home

Safe online spaces where teens write authentically, share freely, and find their voices alongside peers who truly listen—no grades, no judgment, just real connection through creative expression.

As your Story Doula, I guide you from idea to final draft—helping you develop the tools and practices you need to uncover your most essential story.  Our regular meetings incubate your creation.

Twenty-five years ago, as a Peace Corps Volunteer living alone in a rural village in Malawi, East Africa, I witnessed the impact of a climate-change related drought. Like many other volunteers in my group, I was eventually pulled out of my village and diagnosed with PTSD. Towards the end of my time in Malawi, I sequestered myself in my cement house and wrote, feverishly, in my notebook. I discovered a voice that was uniquely mine, raw and potent.
